GENERAL ENGLISH

 

IMPROVE YOUR GRAMMAR & VOCABULARY

Target group: This course is for students who have a B1–B2 level (independent user) but are unable to communicate more fluently because of difficulties with grammatical structure and lack of vocabulary. This course is also available at C1 level for more advanced students.

General description: The course will concentrate on speaking tasks to improve proper tense construction, other vital grammatical structures, and more advanced vocabulary to improve your communication range in English.

Content:
* The use of tenses - phrasal verbs - the differences between gerunds and infinitives.
* Building important vocabulary, nouns, verbs, adjectives and using them in speech.
* Avoiding common mistakes that Finns make in grammatical structures.
* Learning how to use prepositions and articles correctly.

Teachers: B1–B2 level Malcolm Fay, TEFL. Malcolm has been teaching English in Finland for 15 years and has been teaching this course for several years.
