FINNBRIT OPEN HOUSE 15 AUGUST 2019

Welcome to the Finnbrit Open House on Thursday 15 August when our doors will be open all day to celebrate the annual Night of the Arts. We have a full programme of events and activities designed to give you a good impression of who we are and to introduce you to our language services and social events. Please note that there are limited numbers of places available for the free level testing and English lessons, therefore for these activities pre-booking is essential. Otherwise just pop in!

FINNBRIT OPEN HOUSE PROGRAMME

12:00–19:00 FREE LEVEL TESTING & STUDY ADVICE
Come and find out your current level of English. We will offer free level testing from noon until evening! The test includes a multiple-choice test and an interview with an experienced native English teacher and will take approximately 30 minutes per person. After the test, we will give you advice on what course is best for you. Book your place here.

Join Ian to find out how to improve your English at work and be an effective business communicator!

15:00–15:45 IELTS – You can’t fail!
Henry will give you advice on how to maximize your score in the IELTS test (International English Language Testing System).

Penny will give a short introduction to the Cambridge English Advanced C1 and Proficiency C2 exams and give you a taster of our preparation courses.

17:00–17:45 Studying in the UK - Join us as our panellists discuss their experiences of studying in the UK.

18:00–18:45 A theatrical performance from the Finnbrit Players.

19:00–19:45 A theatrical performance from the Really Small Theatre Company.

20:00–20:45 Live stand-up comedy in English

21:00–22:00 Live music from friends of Finnbrit. Come along and join in!
